I finally turned 20 yesterday and threw a little dinner

party in my dorm (hard to do with 11 people)

apples and two cheeses along with bruschetta were served as finger foods

I tried to turn my boring dorm living room to a chic little area, and I think I accomplished a good deal with a small budget

absolutely love this jacket and dress combo

so the dress initially had a high neck with a plunging back,

but i was wondering if it would work backwards

so with the aid of some handy-dandy fashion tape...

VOILA!

i absolutely love it (except for the seam coming down the front)

instead of pairing with with the typical boyfriend blazer,

i added the army green trench which just put the two together perfectly

i have fallen in love with this forever 21 moto jacket ($39.80) that luckily came in xs for my petite figure

i'm not much of an impulse online shopper, but i knew it had to be a main wardrobe staple for my look this fall

this has been "that go to outfit" for the past week because it makes me feel chic, edgy, and someone casual enough for this sweats and ugg town

it followed me through my classes during the day, and into my night out with the team
