Blue Tag Blazer

Fashion is expensive. It's time consuming, unnecessarily addicting, and reserved for big-city girls with nothing better to do with their time.

Just kidding! To be honest though, this is what I thought about fashion prior to August of this year. Stylist (beauty extraordinaire), photographer, and fashionista, Joyce, is to be credited for formidable change in my attitude. She taught me that fashion can be achieved at two dollars or two hundred and with five minutes or fifty. Fashion, it seems, can be for anybody.

What we hope to do, with Stain, is show that high fashion is attainable through a myriad of means. You don't have to buy bulk Chicken-flavored Raman at Sam's Club in order to save $$ for that Phillip Lim doubled breasted blazer that will set you back a good 675 bones. You can create the same Vogue look for a micro fraction of the cost; you just don't know it yet.

But what I will tell you is that the gray blazer you see in a number of the photos was a blue tag blazer from Goodwill; anything with a blue tag is only two bucks and arguably attractive as the Phillip Lim.

So a trip to Goodwill with a fashion goddess and blue tag blazer seemed to be the inspiration for Stain. Hopefully you too can find your blue tag blazer and dive into this self-empowering and creatively beautiful world we call fashion.

With love,

Ryann Lindsey
